Question regarding DC Button

Hey GM,

how comes, that we get everytime Random DC's at the Fortress War?

Is it maybe planned or something? Every Week the Same Problem... Server Maintance Randomly... Randomly DC's.... and it mostly happens when a specified Guild takes the Fortress ?

Hello,

The disconnect and client crashes are random and cannot be fixed on a 20 year old game engine that we don't have source code of. It usually affects the attackers side more. It doesn't matter what guild is occupying the fortress.

There is no such thing as DC button, which would imply that we are helping a guild or union. Id suggest to stop such insinuations, as it could cause account ban for spreading false information. Read the game rules. https://playorigin.com/detail-rules.html

Disconnects and crashes in general can be reduced by Selecting the setting Large Scale Battle in Graphics settings and disabling some effects by ticking Disable Skill Effects and Disable Item Effects in the the Origin Menu (Red "O" Icon on the right side of the screen)

Another thing that can help reduce disconnects and crashes is to play the game in Window mode.

This has been happening since the opening on 2018 and there is no fix for it.
