Never played Silkroad before - How does questing work?

There doesn't seem to be a centralized quest log like in other games, where you finish a main quest and then it points you to another, is this the case? Do I need to just grab quests randomly from the log when I go to a city?

You can Press Q to see your current quests and H to see all quests in the game.

Or just Press H->Quests-> and select a place you're currently in to see what quests are in your lvl range to grab
