View Full Version : Tweaking FGW (61-70) to be more user friendly

Understandably, FGW is meant to be of some sort of challenge, but not when you have 4+ lv 61s attempting and dying off on every (90%) of monster we encounter even with support classes in the party.

Can we look into changing some stuff:
1. Upon death and reviving at town, allow players to summon teammates at specific locations.
- Meaning rather that being summoned again back to the start point, allow teammates at i.e. Camp 1 to summon players at Camp 1.

2. Decreasing FGW (61-70) monsters levels by -5 or so OR Lowering their Damage.
- It just doesn't make sense of how players at lv61 (especially newcomers) have to suffer so much to survive a monster (at least 90%) of the mobs.
- Also, due to monsters being higher level, the damage received is higher on players due to lower tier armor (5x - 61) and so on.

3. Increasing FGW (61-70) level cap from 70 to 75.
- Now, this would largely benefit players who wants to have the option to focus on 1 character and complete all cards on their main character. It SHOULD be a choice, for players to focus on 1 character OR create FGW mules/ sub-characters, so increasing the cap by a few levels would drive for a better mental gameplay aspect. This would not hurt the server; economically speaking. Sure it may impact the other FGW level range but again, it's their CHOICE to remain in the 1st FGW or move on to the others.

Additionally (forgot to input this, more to come in future?):
+ Increasing droprate for HP/MP (and other stones): to assist in gearing up to full blue set (not including + elixirs) by lv 64 or so; since D8 weap is the usual norm for fgw-ing but however by lv64, majority of D8 armors/prot req lv69 to complete set.

+ Remove Untradeable cards (Western and Red Tears): no reason to have it as untradeable tbh, serves not much to little purpose. 1 of the many flaws that silkroad had and should've gotten balanced. Removes teammates getting untradeable cards and leaving other teammates only having to suffer and drag their FGW runs by weeks/months.

I would like to see the Flame Mountain (71-80lv) changed.
I'm a Warlock/Cleric, so it's pretty clear I can't tank anything, I need help, however, I couldn't find someone to help me do the quest. I tried to buy the cards from other people, couldn't find anyone selling them...
In resume, The reward is a must, but it is so difficulty to do the quest, that no one is able to do it, and once you're lv81, you can't do it anymore... It's very frustrating.
