What is Earthquake does or mean ? !!

I am sure that you put any event to make the game more fun , but really no one knows what is event Earthquake mean, what we must do inside it , just wait and repair our gears after !!
if it has no meaning in the game why not remove it ?

There are random boxes that spawn invidr the event. Pick as much as you can and use them in town to get random rewards.
