Maybe a little change to item drops (Normal mobs <-> PT Mobs)

Dear GM, i am sorry for making so many suggestions the last time. i really enjoy this server and talk with many people what they like/dont like and we want to improve and share our ideas:) as i played many builds already on the server, i would like to add a new "problem" and maybe u have a better suggestion than mine:


In my opinion Parties and PT Mobs are getting abused by 90% of the wizzards. 9/10 parties in antinokes and wings are Item free, where lower leves pay or buff the wizzards, and the wizzards can freely farm the pt mobs, which have much higher drop rate than normal mobs. There aint many parties with item share, all i see is

"ANTINOKES FREE FOR BARD/WARRIOR" etc etc. I could send 10 screenshots per day. and i see like one normal PT per day only.

In conclusion, to sum up, wizzards gain 100x faster stones/elx/tablets. i see screenshots where in 3 hours they make thousands of them. well, when i grind as a glavier, PT mobs wont work, and solo mobs i do like 30 tablets ( none of them STR) in few hours.


A solution might be not to decrease the drop rate of PT mobs, but to INCREASE the Tablet/stone/elx drop rate like kinda A LITTLE only. not time 3 or 4 or even more, but in a ratio, where grinding at normal mobs as a STR char is worthy. so many already level up a second character wizzard, not because they want to play it, but for farming and "abusing" those Parties and PT mobs.

If you dont like to do this, maybe come up with another solution and make it also a balance between grinding chars, because i really dont want to make a wizzard level 80 and play a char i dont like such a mashine just for drops. Yea, you might say i could just go and trade, but i dont want to do only trades 24/7. i want to handgrind like back in the old days, for what ORIGIN is made for. the original experience in silkroad without bots! Grinding worht for everyone!

The TLDR is I think it's fine as it is, but below is my thoughts on your post.

I can't agree with your suggestion here because that eliminates the purpose of farm parties or having a farming character.
It's the bard/warrior's choice to go and be plvled in such a matter and actually benefits them so there's no loss to them.

As for the wizards, they chose to make a squishy character and offer their service to better others and themselves (in the form of profit).

On the other hand, they have to arrange or find these bards in order to get the buffs where as a chinese character can solo them without any worry of death. I was in a 70pt in dw cave before where we had 2 nukers (1spear, 1 s/s), bower and a cleric. The chinese never died but the cleric constantly agro'd and got 1shot by something. This would be the same for wizards doing huge damage if not blindly mashing buttons.

As a STR character you also get the benefit of pretty much being immortal once you got at least +3 set and can tank multiple mobs.
Chinese nukers also got quite easy time farming but that doesn't mean they should also be nerfed in favour of STR.

I doubt it's possible to buff rates based on a character's build and even if it would be, you'd need to buff blades 5x to catch up to wizards and probably around 3x to come close to INT nukers.

I think the smartest thing to do is simply to make a grinding character since leveling is so easy once you have 80 plvl (or even grind it yourself with prem (can get it so easy by buying silk for gold even).
Alternatively as a STR Chinese, you can make use of the balance change they implemented and have Bow/Glaive/Force. Bow is great for farming. Maybe not as good as INT chars but certainly faster than glaive.

this was silkroad, this is silkroad and 95% why all joined in this server is, we want silkroad like before.

not all the time like pserver change everythink, the rates, the exp, alchemy, botting, drops etc etc....

chinese is chinese
euro is euro

u knew it, u chose it u have to play and life with it...... but rly, dont cry and dont make any new post like this again.

when the server will change the rates differntly for every char, belive me, many of them will leave and the forum will explosing with posts.
because this will not oldschool silkroad

Hmm I played 2h, xbow and now s/s nuker and I had no trouble with grinding solo.
Sure most STR char have to walk a lot like me with my 2h but its still good to farm solo.
And in party it doesnt matter which class you play.
Perhaps you sould focus more in joining partys if solo farming with a glaive is to slow for you.
Or maybe its just the wrong class for you.

Old school sro didnt have wizzards :') nor all the eu class it's why every server has balance issues, that being said some classes like strs can never grind or even be useful in party vs party

events but it changes over the course of the levels i guess? like bowers get a really good boost at d10 and bladers in d13 or smth idk for real, but i guess that's how the game goes, you wont

enjoy any pve as a glaiver or any str char in this game
