Hello, last weeks i collected some suggestions which could make the gameplay smoother.
1) Since no1 is using Armor and Heavy Armor almost, i think this gear should have a little buff. therefore remove the speed penalty sothat u raun as fast as with protector. and also give armor a phy defence boost like 10% or 15% more phy stats on their usual stats, to makte this gear more attractive.
2) Chinese Buffs should be reworked. every chinese char has all china buffs and it takes so much time to rebuff them all. its so annoying and takes like 1 minute after every Death, every TP, every login. U can program the buffs like premium works. 1 time using, and it will stay for 1 month . sothat everytime when u die or TP, u dont have to rebuff 1 minute with 7 or 9 buffs. when u die 10 times in BA its like 10 minutes only rebuffing and waiting for whole group, meanwhile EU has 1 or 2 buffs and can run out instant. This is kinda a must have on all new modern Private servers, which u can see in the newest P-servers nowadays (doesnt matter if China only or both races).
3) maybe give pacheon and bicheon a little buff like crit increase or stun chance or higher damage ratio. especially pacheon, since it lacks with defence and damage at 80 / 90 cap. (80 much more)
4) When 90 cap comes out, please inform us a few weeks before to get prepared.
5) When 90 cap is here, division debuff should be given only to STR chars like snow shield is only for INT chars. otherwise INTs will be OP, debuffs were made only for STR chars to balance their damage.
6) stick arrows to 5k instead of 1k arrows please. u need much more slots than for potions in inventory.

Great suggestions there, and I hope admins will listen and consider some of this.
My thoughts on your suggestions:
1. Not boost too much. Maybe remove movement slow and add 5% phy def increase and test for a few weeks to see how it goes.
2. Abso-f-in-lutely. Chinese buffs are beyond annoying especially when having all 3 force builds. I don't think they should last a month but there should definitely be an edit.
Suggestion: All buffs last 30 mins and persist through death
Suggestion2: 1 new buff which will cast your highest rank of primary buffs (cold phy def, fire mag def + phy damage, light move + parry). Even removing the need to do all 5 buffs right here will have a huge positive effect on ridiculous buff times.
Suggestion3 (most balanced): Buff cast time is 0.5s like euro buffs.
3. Not sure about damage buffs for either of these since we already got 3 force elements.
I would instead rather see a small buff to Pacheon only in the form of survival. Perhaps a 2-3% damage absorption buff which is active only while holding a bow (to avoid dual weapon spec abuse).
4. Think that is always done, however I would prefer server kept below 100 cap or we're just like any other server out there (which is bad).
5. Too early to talk about this atm.
6. Arrows are already stacked x4 the original amount and there's no botting so if you can burn through 4k arrows (just 4 stacks, you can stack more ofcourse) in 1 grind session then I think you need a break :)
New suggestions:
1. Would be great to see a small boost to xp/sp rates either permanently (say x5) or weekend rates (something like x6-7). Would attract some more players that go to pservers to avoid the endless grind/sp farm without making the server feel like what is known as a "fun server" where you just get to endgame content really fast.
2a. Cut collection/hunt quest values in half (or double xp/sp gain). Earlier quests aren't worth doing because you skip past them too fast and later quests just don't give enough to encourage you to stay on that mob rather than just going to something high level or more convenient.
2b. Make all quests repeatable up to 3 total times. Would be fantastic way to not have the empty grind to level problem which existed in original SRO.
2c. Add custom quests (such as "daily" quests where you have to kill 100 PT mobs or 100 mobs that are at least 5 levels higher than your character.
3. This would have to be a custom spell so not sure if possible but it would be really great if all classes had out of combat (20s) resurrect. This can even be on 5min cooldown. Obviously this should also be disabled in all PVP situations and if you actually go cleric/recovery then those should still be usable as standard so there's still a point in getting them.

3) bower lack in defence on purpose, because it was meant to be a damage class, but heuksal does more dmg, more crowd control and has more HP. So i would raise crit on all anti devil (+5) and stun from strong bow from 25 to 30%. Heuksal has 2x 25% which u can use both in a row. Especially the higher the cap, the more crit Chance bowers have, this makes them pretty weak in 80 cap. U can sea only 1 or 2 high level bowers on this server . All who are Smart change their build.
6) agreed Too but, the hp mp potions are now times 20 from Original, compared to arrows times 4 only. U can stack 1000 pots instead of 50 . This should be with arrows also, because it takes a Lot of Space when u Farm stones . Every slot is important then.
But the China duration buffs must be changed to staying always on or rebuff duration should take max 0.5 seconds for each buff. I'd prefer first. It feels more smooth
I guess thats not really a game breaking thing, just quality of life so yeah cant argue with arrows going to about 10k too ;D

I do hope so :)
This server is awesome and if buffs took 0.1 sec it would be a great quality of life improvement without breaking any balance.
As a chn main player I would be very much appreciative of such a change :)

If you ask me guys those suggestions aren't bad, but think about the overall impact on game. The chinese buffs animation is one of the things that make the game awesome. What would happen with the animation ?!? The only thing that might help players without removing that awesome animation is a little bit more time for the buffs (but not forever), and if possible to implement buff animations from latest expansions of the game, because i think they are also great looking and it's little boring to see all buffs to be cast with the same animation. ( i hope that would happen). Yes you would have to cast buffs for about minute on battlegrounds, but if you are weak and got killed in 20 sec, that won't make your life easier- it would help the opposite team to collect more trophies or arena coin ;)
One other thing i think there is no need to buff armor or protector because people prefer garment- it's just because of the design, but still garment lacks physical deffence, so to my opinion it's all balanced.
In history warriors prefer to wear cloth armors just to be more agile and faster on the battlefield - do not forget that Silkroad is based on historical events.

We could increase the duration of the buffs in the future but not short the cast time.

Dear GM,
The Problem is not that u have to rebuff all 15 Minute while grinding the Problem is that in FTW or BA u often die (Doesnt matter which skill or set @SharoMind) and all chinese have to rebuff all 7 buffs,.giving pain, giving phy mag after every respawn and ress. For what u also dont have the time to in the middle of a Team fight. The eu chars just run further after 2 seconds buffing, and chinese takes whole Minute.
Changing the buff Time from 15 to 30 Minute wont bring anything . Especially all 3 trees is annoying.

I agree with Weysted. I often give up on rebuffing in BA and CTF and hope that it won't affect the win or the loss :D

Even a duration increase to 30 mins flat would mean less rebuffing while grinding. I think cast times need to be reduced too at least for the primary buffs like phy/mag def and dmg but I'll take what is given hehe.
it is clear though that Euro chars were developed with PvP in mind, making buffs last less but cast super fast. Short litte HAH and you got yourself an op but short buff

Anything is possible, but we don't intent to edit the original buff times or cast times for the time being.
