New to Origin - Questions

Hi!
After over 10 years away from any version of SRO I unexpectedly decided to look for a server to try out. After hours of searching through Private servers, I arrived at the decision to give this one a try!

A little history, this was my first mmorpg, I last played over 10 years ago, mainly from 60-100 cap, and partially to 110 cap on Hercules server(iSRO).


A few questions before I dive into this game again, would appreciate answers from multiple people: (apologies if this info can be found elsewhere)

1.How active is the server?
2.Is the server active on a EST time zone in the evening?
3.What % of the server is North American and what % is European?
4.Is there active jobbing?
5.Are bots truly not allowed? :)
6.Is farming SP an issue, or do people full farm sp at low levels here too?
7.I saw that there are SoS items, are there SoM and SoSun as well?
8.What are the drop rates for SoX items?
9.Is there magic pop? :/ If so do most SoX items come from it? :/
10.Is this a taxi to cap server?
11.Are there updates and any plans for new caps?
12.Any major differences or edits from the original isro?

1. Around 250 players online, 350 in peaks
2. Not really as I noticed. Most players are from Europe
3. Didn’t meet a single person from NA so far
4. Jobbing is semi active - traders must lure out thief’s but they do come to steal

6. Forgotten world quests bring 500k SP upon completion

9. Yes, but no SoX as rewards, only gold dragon flags and advanced elixirs
10. I don’t understand this question? Are you asking if people are getting taxi, not really. You must grind and earn money to pay for taxi
11. Last they said that 90 cap is not planned soon
12. Didn’t notice much of difference. For cap 80 the difference is that my roc is opened. Silks are tradeable. And no stall network available.

Answered above already but dont be put off by the number of players.

Global chat is moderately active and the number of players is slowly rising.
Having no bots means that the amount of players here vs other servers with 1k + Players means that there's about the same unique players.

Thanks guys! I just hit lvl 30 last night.

I haven't seen many players in the beginning areas or really found any parties at my level, but I did tele to Hotan to have a look. It seemed there were a lot of end game players / stalls. Not sure if I'll be able to catch up and get to lvl 80 with everyone else.

I haven't taken any quests from NPCs as of yet, do they give the same amount of exp as they did in isro, or have they been increased? Is it worth doing the quests, or better to just grind and not worry about running all over to pick/turn in quests?

The population is fairly healthy, just level up with 0 gap asap to get to 40+ and should have more players around :)

I can't tell for sure if the rewards have been increased, but it was worth doing them because they gave around 10%+ exp at all times.

Most quest rewards 40%+exp ! not 10.
I do quests, going very nice with a small 3 gap.
Never had to farm monster to get to the next level after completing a quest.

:D The ones above lv50 never gave to me over 10%, but maybe because I grind on mobs lower than me for 2-3 levels (str bower)

I was lvl 68 yesterday. Done a quest for collection 260 Items in the cave at lvl 70 mobs. The quest gave me around 20%. I could repeat it 3 Times. Now i am searching for new quests.
The rewards are quite ok , but i miss some Skillpoint EXP in the quests. They gave only EP and 250k Gold.
