Trading bug

We found a bug while trading, in eldorado server.
The thief spawned on the bridge at hotan, and they killed an animal, but we could not pick it up, because we were "inside the town"'? so how did they spawn?... We lost a 5* trade... can we get some kind of compensation please? I can send a better quality picture, it just didnt allow me to upload it in full res

Hello,

If you stand right before the end of the city where thieves can spawn, they could kill your pet. it is not a bug. Don't stand next to the city barrier to avoid this from happening.
