Server Keeping Names Forever?

So, I had a character named Ori, which last week I deleted. Today I wanted to make another character with the same name, but it says that it's already taken. Im wondering if the server keeps all the names because of a bug, or i just got unlucky. Could you look into it please?

Character names are locked to it's original creator, event if the character is deleted they are saved as taken.

is there any way to delete it? i have "lJossembert" but i may though in the future buying the "rename thing" (500 silk) to remove the l, because i had another char in the beta, but i got like 200k pk thinking that in that "restart lvl 1", the pk will be removed too, but it didn't, so i created this 2nd char

the first char doesn't have the l, so... according what u wrote, i can understand i can't fix my name back :c
