Hey good people.
I'm loving the server, i think you did a great job all around.
The updates are fast and looks like you really care about giving a pure silkroad experience. I love that.
Please don't let whining people distort your vision of what silkroad really should be :)
Okay, so this is gonna be long, make sure you are comfy.
What i wish to discuss here is endgame pvp and just general balancing of the game.
I tried to think always of the easiest to implement methods, they are really simple fixes i hope.
I think we can all agree that despite your efforts there still remain problems with the chinesse race.
In order to reduce these problems i suggest you make the inteligence side of them weaker and the strength side stronger.
In isro people generally made nukers with fire and ice wich means they usually did not have the lightning mag attack buff and
they did not have ofcourse the 5% attack/absortion buff wich they do now passively. That is what seems to be the biggest cause for unbalance.
Because of the high dmg output, and the fact that they share the skills with str chinesse characters, they become especially hard to balance.
The only reasonable way to fix them seems to be nerfing.
Chinesse, as the race is, never had a problem with survivability the prbolem was the dmg output compared to eu, especially in events like FGW.
But we have to consider what the eu sacrifices in order to output such dmg. They are basically a 1 hit mob alone, even warriors are weak when they are actually attacking.
They are tanky when they are in defensive mode only. The same cannot be said for the chinesse.
So the 5% passive absortion they had should fly away and only the dmg should remain.
But this is still not enough. We still have to do something about the magic atk buff they get from lightning.
I suggest it should be reduced to max 8% (This will hurt str chars a little bit too). This way they still going to have an edge over vanilla, but will not be completley broken.
The reason i think the buff should not be removed entirely is beacuse snow shield should be nerfed too.
You really should try to play with the cooldown, as for now it last 2 min and has a 3 min cooldown.
I would suggest something like 66 sec duration and 92 sec cooldown. This actually makes nukers stay in snow shield longer overall, but gives more windows for other characters to attack.
This would give enough time for the nuker to kill his opponent in pvp because of the +11-13% dmg now he has
compared to the vanilla, but also they would be vulnerable more frecvently, as an int character should be.
The last thing that should be nerfed is the Bicheon phy buff and Heuksal mag buff. They duration simply should be reduced from 15s to 12s.
They should be a mean to recover oneself in the middle of the battle after a grave hit, not a buff that makes one invincible for ages.
Okay so after so much nerfing, i think it's time to actually make str chinesse characters viable too by buffing.
This is required not only because chinesse seems to hit just a bit too little-(For example two well geared glavier can not kill each other, no matter what.)- but also because at 8dg the last weapon is at lvl 72. This means that there is just generally not enough dmg in addition to chinesse str characters having low dmg.
This is really easy, just increase Flame Devil Force or the flame body series phy. atk. dmg. by 6-7%, dosen't really matter wich one.(this agian helps nukers a little bit too)
Bladers, well they are in a different category. I will be honest, i have not a clue what to do with them. They don't hit nearly enough and cannot apply debuffs either.
They are a lost class right now, in my opinion.
And last, at last. Vigors. Their cooldown should be increased by one sec at least. They are way to usefull to be spammed like they usually are.
I also think that Group Reverse and Crystal Invisible shouldn't be banned in CTF. They are only usefull in these situations bascally, makes no sense to bann them. They are not op, can be countered. They should be okay.
I think these changes really would help the community and we would see str chinesse return too.
A more balanced game is just more fun overall, when i am palaying an feeling that the game is fair, well it just warms my hearth. Joymax really didn't seem to care as far as i know.
They made the game roughly, put in europeans, never fixed black ress, never really balanced anything. I hope to see some welcome changes atleast here.
