Not allowed skills

I'm sure everyone has noticed there are a few/lot of banned skills in places such as capture the flag, arena and fortress war.

With this post I intend on making a list of the skills that aren't allowed and try to see why you would ban them, and giving my explanation on why they shouldn't be banned if it's the case.
I would like the GM to say if I hit the right spot and got it right or if it's another reason for each skill, please.

Reverse Oblation - My guess is that it is banned because it is too fast or because chinese characters don't have such a fast ress (wow). This skill has lots of potential. Charlotte has created a thread on Reverse oblation and i'll leave that thread with the reasons on why you should unban it and possibly make it different so it has a nice balanced use (not that it isn't balanced). It is a pretty fast ress with a big cooldown in comparison, and you might have banned it, yet again, because chinesey don't have it? Chinese aren't clerics, put that in your mind. Cleric is a WHOLE MASTERY DEVOTED TO HEALING, BUFFING, RESSURECTING AND IS NOT TO BE COMPARED TO CHINESE FORCE NOR SHOULD IT BE DIMINISHED TO IT. You SHOULD bring it back and possibly change it.


Group Reverse - It ressurects the whole party. That's it. You banned it because it ressurects the whole party. Not to mention the time it takes to actually be used, it rewards a party for winning a fight, because the odds of you succeeding in using it without actually winning the fight, are very low, CC can stop it and has tons of cooldown too. I guess that's all I can say, it doesn't do anything op. It's just a simple ressurection skill that takes loads of time and has tons of cooldown, compensating a team for winning a fight. You SHOULD unban it.


Crystal Invisible - It makes the whole party invisible [Invisible Level 8] >> This should absolutely NOT be banned, it is already a PVP skill, and you ban it in PVP = no use at all, if you ban it, you better just delete it no? It shouldn't be banned because there's no op reason to do so, you can detect the invisible people super easy by using a potion, using chinese skills or european wizard detect. Totally normal and part of the pvp strategy universe. It's 100% NOT op. Not everyone would even use it but by unbanning it you would be enlarging the pvp strategy universe, rather than just setting out pvp to be some blade fight lol.

Bless Spell - It brings tons of defense, to the whole party. There's only so much I can say... Truth is, the game is NOW unbalanced because you made europeans super weak and chinese the strong dominant race. Let's start from the beginning.
Chinese have snow shield blocking 50% damage, no potion delay, they have walls to block damage, healing, pains, everything, and they ALREADY have that chinese buff for balance that you added. WHY punish european even more? It was fine without this ban. Bless spell grants defense agaisnt all of that and it is only fair that euros get it too. If you ban this and say you WON'T EVER bring it back, you must ban snow shield. That's the only way to actually balance things. If you don't ban snow shield. You have to bring bless spell back, it's simple. If you're not convinced go see some arena or ctfs, see how "balanced" it is, the mess you made tbh...
You didn't ban snow shield because it "was individual", well it is individual but lasts too much has very little cooldown and adds tons of defense altogether, and there are tons of chinese people. Everyone with their snow shield destroying euros 1 or 2 or 3 hits. While euros cant do shit unless they have a +9 +10 set lol gzz

PVP isn't just blade fighting, it is about strategy, timing, using the right skills i the right moments, and SO MUCH MORE! By restricting us to just some mere knuckle fighting you're making the fun go away.
And you have to be playing a chinese char for all these euro bans and pretty much nothing for chinese lol. Get their snow shield out or bring Bless back, or we're out!

That's all the skills I found out that were banned for now. If I happen to see any other I'll edit the thread or add new post with my opinion about it.

Lol, those skills prolongues too much life from player's in ctf, the fun is killing fast between us to farm trophies,
sometimes enemy team has 2 cleric, and we were on a full ch pt, and clerics just made the game for u with bless spell, also if u're using everything and doing a whole sacrifice to kill their best 2 players in enemy team, they just use the reverse group, and that's so sad, sometimes the 2 or 3 clerics are in one team v':

sometimes there are 3 warrior on enemy team, and in our team only some chinese players and 1 warrior, it is very difficult to win, imagine if bless is re-allowed, full bless and free trophies :c

actually even the single ress from ch and cleric should be removed (in the case that ctf means 8 v 8 the best team will win in an extreme battle with no ress, only for pro pvp players)
It just my normal and simple opinion don't listen to me XD

Again a post that sounds more like "buff my class" instead of "balance the game". Somehow you want every skill back that you could use with your wizard/cleric but didn't loose any word about warrior screens for example which are waaaay less unbalanced than bless spell.

I still wonder the reason they won't remove bless in official server if it's as unbalanced as you claim.
Plus, chinese have their snow shield as I have said innumerous times, which is pretty much equal, except it uses mana. 50% damage reductions is A LOT.

As retarded as they may be, they did the right choice, even though you can't see it.
They made bless spell free to use, as always, but they made it dissappear if you take off your cleric rod. That's very balanced in pvp. Though they did it in every place including PVE which kinda sucks, but if that's necessary to do so in PVP, I support it lol. Perfect option, and much better than removing.
2. They're banned? Again, didn't know. Well of course I mentioned only skills I COULD USE since I can't really know if other ones are free or not lol. Do you want me to try checking if I can use maybe a china imbue? See if it's banned? lol, you do understand that no? I mean I can only try to use skills of the masteries I have learned ... -.-
3. There, now turns out it isn't me who is wanting a "buff my class" but you that want "don't nerf my class", no further replying necessary.

Bless is nice. It's the best defense euros have [cleric necessary] and i agree it should be added a condition to it, but not removed. Skills aren't supposed to be removed, it's ORIGIN, assembling old silkroad, and old silkroad didn't have these bans.
I understand that there are other changes, but they are minor changes to make it playable and not as unfair as old sro, like the China buff, which is already a buff to those of your kind.
So imagine two euros fighting. One has cleric the other doesn't, it doesn't mean just because one has bless and the other doesn't that it is unbalanced lol. They have different stuff as they chose different masteries.

This is new to me and probably their first good decision. But still its like I already said just making fights last forever. Its pure stalling and if both teams activate it then RIP ice trophys forever. Same for original dark res.

if they activate it, then they will need to stay cleric, which doesnt really make your balls hurt like a wizard attacking you, so it also makes you get less damage

You say rip ice trophies but i barely get any with all these chinese walking around killing me 1 or 2 hits lol

Every class kills you 1-2 hit thats wizard life. With bless 3 hits.

That was me being generous with numbers, I die mostly 1 hit and those hits do like 100k dmg when my hp is at most 8k or something.

I was one of the first 5 characters to get to lvl 80 on this server when it opened, me and my party left because of how unbalanced CH vs EU were (and still are) and how much preference CH characters get a few months back. I have been constantly monitoring the forums since then as I really wanted to come back but with the pass of time it has become clear that the server is Chinese oriented, I also made a ton of suggestions to be closer to a balanced situation, some were taken into consideration, some dismissed, only a few made it to the game but the CH advantage is still there.

We learned our lesson, if you are not using a CH character I suggest you save time and either stop playing or look for another server.

Its heart crushing I know, the nostalgia of a cap80 server was awesome and the game was already balanced in my opinion so small modifications could be done to make it better but it was just too much and all in favor of CH characters.

With great disappointment this is probably my last comment as I have lost hope for what I expected on this server and will stop monitoring updates from here on.

Not to say the server is bad, it simply did not met my expectations and since I love EU characters, warriors to be more specific, I will continue playing on another server I have been playing since then (I wont advertise another server here, that's just shitty).

Have fun and my recommendation is, if you like European characters, look somewhere else as you will find no enjoyment here, the balance problems have been going on since launch and I am sure will continue far longer from now.

I dont understand your problem. My main character is a CHN char but now I also lvled up an euro char and he feels much more op.. Euros have so many advantages.. and in PVE you can`t beat them.
