Hello! I have graphic issues on my laptop.
My specs: GTX 1660 Ti
i7-9750H
16GB Ram
1920x1090, 60Hz Screen.
I see no character faces in the UI circles (Mine and the party), and my character model is sometimes acting weird. (looks like some alien with tentacles sometimes).
My graphic driver and windows 10 are all up-to-date.
How to fix it?

Hello,

Your laptop must be using the integrated graphics card instead of Nvidia. We have had cases like this before. The only thing we can advise is to disable your integrated graphics card and use Nvidia only. that will force the game to run on the Nvidia graphics card. You can do this from device manager or from the BIOS.

Unfortunately, we don't have specific instructions for every laptop with this configuration out there.

Weird, the game runs smoothly even in Highest setting. And nvidia do not see Origin as a game, when i give folder direction :/

Hello everyone!

I had the same problems, and i think i found a working solution, tested on 2 laptops, both works fine with SRO now.

I did these things below:
1. Update all the GPU's , both intel and nvidia ( for me) to the latest verions , from web, not from Windows automatic updates. And Install " DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime"
2. After that , restart , then open Intel Graphics Command Center, which comes with the new driver ( i think, dunno, it just appear for me) , under System Tab -> Power -> Turn everything to Maximum performance.
3. Go to Nvidia control panel, and Manage 3d Settings -> Choose default preferred graphics processor -> Choose "High performance Nvidia processor" . You should turn off triple buffering , ill write about that later.
4. Press Start button , type the following in search : Graphics setting -> Classic App , and browe Origin Online client.exe , after that, you can change preference to High performance.
5. Go to File Explorer, Right Click on "This PC" -> Properties -> Advanced System Settings -> Under Advanced tab click Settins under Performance section -> Data Execution Prevention tab -> Choose Turn on DEP except those i select -> Then Add Origin Online Client, Launcher, and Patcher
6. If you have a desktop icon for launcher, then right click on it -> properties -> Compatibility -> Tick Windows7 compatibility , and disable full screen optimizations, and tick run this program as an adminstrator

After that , do a restart, and login to the game , and you can check easily if its working or not, the head will appear on the image which you posted before.

I tested it on a lenovo legion y520 , and another lenovo laptop with integrated intel hd+ nvidia 1050ti, and 1050. Both works fine, but..
inside the game, i have around ~200 fps, which is too much for my 60hz old monitor, so I installed msi afterburner+rivatuner to limit my fps, because if i switch vertical sync from nvidia control panel, nothing happens for sro.

I hope this can help you guys, if you need pictures from the steps, ill post them later, i just want to share this fix for you, i spent like 4-5 hours to figure out , why my laptop runs (only) sro with integrated graphics, not the dedicated one.

BR, see you ingame!
