This applies to Error codes 2, 3, 4, 5 and others, while updating. Also valid for the "Internal Protection" Error while trying to launch the game, or if your game files keep getting corrupted or deleted.
This error is very common on every update for some users using certain antivirus brands.
All you have to do is add the Origin Online folder to your antivirus exception list and reinstall the game. Your antivirus may have already deleted or corrupted the file, so it's the best way to fix it.
By adding the Origin Online folder as an exception on your antivirus (Windows Defender Included) you will not have this problem on every update.
Origin Client files are clean, if your antivirus is deleting it for some reason, this is called a false positive, which is also very common on antivirus programs. The files are safe to use.
You can also Download latest installer from the website if it has been already published, here: https://playorigin.com/download.html (If your current Client version is lower than the published on the website)
You still have to add the Origin Online folder as exception in your antivirus or else you will have the same problem on the next update.
