Hello!
I've been having some MMORPG craves lately, and after randomly bumping into some SRO related stuff on the internet I instantly felt the nostalgic wave. I remember playing some private SRO servers many years ago but they never really stuck. Most of them were also either crowded with bots or had a very low population.
Today I decided to do a search to see if I could find any new servers that looks interesting, and I gotta say, this one looks very promising. Ranked 3rd top rated server on topg, has a "no bot" rule, and aims to keep the game as close to its original state as possible while still being innovative with active content like custom events etc. It all sounds great!
However, what I typically do before I dive straight into new things is to do some research first. So, here I am with some questions, and I hope you can answer all of them.
1. Where is the server located? Judging by the server time zone and the American flag icon on topg, I assume somewhere in the US?
2. Do you know where the majority of players are from? Is there a good mix between EU and US players?
3. One of the biggest issues I had with original SRO was the "gap" system. In order to be competitive and efficient at higher levels, it was recommended to have multiple builds and high level skills, which required a lot of skill points. The problem for me was that leveling up was simply way too slow when using the optimal "gap". It was not very casual friendly, if even hardcore friendly. So my question is, have you guys focused on tackling this issue to make sp farming and leveling more balanced? Or do you actually want the leveling to be as slow as in the original?
4. How far ahead are people on the server currently? Are there any players with maxed out gear?
5. How much of an impact does silk have in the game? Especially on character/gear progression? Are there any items that could be considered "pay-to-win"?
6. Perhaps the most important question of all - how's the population doing? Approx. how many active players are there on the server on a busy and not so busy day?
That's all I have right now, but expect more questions later! :Emoji Smiley-28:
Thank you and hope to see you in-game soon!
